Not All Salts Are Created Equal   
Salt has long been used in a bath due to its therapeutic properties. People traveled across the world to bathe in salt waters such as the dead sea. Hippocrates encourages his patients to bathe in salt water in a therapy called thalassotherapy.

Since then, many more benefits of using salt in baths has been discovered. Using salt can increase moisture retention, improve circulation, detoxify your skin, helps dry dry skin. Bath salt contains numerous minerals, which helps to restore our body's mineral balance.

Benefits Of Bath Salt 
Bath salts are very good for detoxifying your body. It can ease your sore muscles, aching feet, back pain, muscle tensions and even suppresses athlete's foot and corns.

Bath salts are also known to rejuvenate your skin and add radiance by removing dirt and toxins. By removing these impurities, it can often "cure" common skin problems like eczema, psoriasis and itching. It can also be used to minimize scars while at the same time retains moisture in the skin.

You can mix bath salt and essential oil for a soothing session of aromatherapy. Aromatherapy can induce calmness, helping to ensure you will have a sound and relaxing sleep.

Not All Salts Are Made Equal. 
Sea salt. These salts are also known as "all-purpose"salt. They are high in minerals and often use to detoxify skin and soothe muscles. Very inexpensive.

Dead sea salt. These have higher minerals than ordinary sea salts but are more expensive. Dead sea salt has all the benefits of ordinary sea salt but more potent.

Epsom salt. These are the cheapest of them all. Used to soothe muscles aches and joint discomfort.

Exotic salts. These salts has unique texture that are highly sought after, and therefore they are are more expensive than normal sea salt are.

Dendritic salt. These are used to retain fragrance. Essential oils are often added to these salt and subsequently these are added to normal salts.

Different Ways To Use Bath Salt 
Although they are called BATH
salt, they can also be used for other purposes.

1. It can dissolved into water and you can use that water to relieve your tired feet or soak in it for a relaxing bath.

2. You run bath salt on your body, while wet, to remove dry skin and help restoration.

3. Male salt scrub. Mix salt with olive oil and you have your very own true all natural facial scrub.

4. You can add salt into your conditioner to add more body to your hair.
