This question comes up from time to time and in our 8 years of being in the bath salt business we've never heard of any issues arising from using bath salts with septic tank systems nor have we any data that would suggest that using bath salts with septic tanks would be a problem.

There are many different septic systems out there so we can't 100% guarantee that frequent or prolonged use of bath salts wouldn't affect certain septic systems. If you have any concerns we recommend you doing further research on this based on your specific septic system.

Your baby or toddler cries non-stop, allowing you only a few hours of precious sleep. You’ve tried everything but he or she can’t seem to calm down.

Solution: treat your little one to a nice, warm relaxing bath before bedtime! Even better, share the tub and take a bath together.

Turn the lights down, sprinkle a small amount of scented bath salts in the tub, and bring goodies- toy boats, rubber duckies, the more the better! The warm water will lower both you and your baby’s blood pressure, making you feel relaxed and calm and ready for bed. Scents such as lavender and rose are wonderfully soothing for the body and mind, making the bath easier to relax in. Dead Sea Salt, Pacific Sea Salt or Epsom Salt would work great for this while softening the skin and relaxing those muscles, so you’ll both feel soft and supple! Bathing is also a wonderful excuse to share time alone together. Sweet dreams!

One way to cut costs for your budget is to do your own manicures instead of paying to have them done professionally.

Sure, using the average manicure set at home works, but why not spice it up a bit and give those hard working fingers some extra love and cleaning? Rubbing salt on your cuticles is a great way to properly clean under you nails and cuticles leaving them rejuvenated and cleansed. Dead Sea Salt is great for killing bacteria and fighting germs as our hands are the direct source for picking up germs and bacteria especially in those small crevices, like your cuticles, where bacteria can hide.
Below is an easy quick recipe to do from home

Ingredients:
-1 small bowl
-1 tablespoon Dead Sea Salt
-5 small drops of Olive Oil

Directions (excluding the basic manicure procedure that takes place before or after)
- Get a small bowl ready
- Add 1 tablespoon of Fine Grain Dead Sea Salt
- Add around 5 small drops of Olive Oil
- Mix evenly
- Apply the thick mixture to you cuticles and gently message the mixture into the cuticle and nail
- Leave on your cuticles for 5 minutes then rinse or soak your fingers in warm water
