1.Tired achy sore muscles? Balance your mind and body with a cup or two of our Epsom Salt in a warm tub of water. Soak for at least 20 minutes to relax your body at and put your mind at ease. Spice it up with a few drops or Peppermint, Lavender or Eucalyptus Essential Oils, to make your bath experience a more therapeutic and sensual soak.

2.A simple extra step to cleaning your face: When cleaning your face at night, mix a half-teaspoon of Epsom Salt with your regular cleansing cream. Softly massage the mixture into your skin and rinse with cold water. This will kill germs, and unclog your pores for a more rejuvenated look and feel.

3.Hair treatment: Epsom Salt soaks up excess oil from your hair (oily hair can cause breakouts and acne when hair touches sensitive parts of the skin). Add 9 tablespoons of Epsom Salt to 1/2 cup of any hair shampoo. Apply one tablespoon of the liquid to your hair when it is dry. Rinse with cold water then apply your daily conditioner.

4.Fertilize your garden! Studies show that Epsom Salt can make roses bushier, pepper plants larger and lawns greener. You can either sprinkle 2 Tablespoons at the root or base of a plant/lawn or add 3 Tablespoons to a gallon of water, let it dissolve then saturate the roots of the plants/ lawn. This is a simple easy way to beautify your garden, why not try??

If you’re like me, I usually soak in a cool to luke warm bath, but on occasion I find myself yearning for that steamy hot soak, especially in the winter season.  Anytime you enjoy a hot bath it’s essential to drink water before, while and after soaking in the tub.

Studies have shown that soaking in a hot bath or hot tub/jacuzzi, is similar to exercising in some regards!  At a safe rate, soaking in hot water can increase circulation and blood flow, just as any typical exercise can do. So just as you would think to drink water before, during and after exercise, be sure to drink plenty of water during bath time!
