
If you’re like me, I usually soak in a cool to luke warm bath, but on occasion I find myself yearning for that steamy hot soak, especially in the winter season. Anytime you enjoy a hot bath it’s essential to drink water before, while and after soaking in the tub.
Studies have shown that soaking in a hot bath or hot tub/jacuzzi, is similar to exercising in some regards! At a safe rate, soaking in hot water can increase circulation and blood flow, just as any typical exercise can do. So just as you would think to drink water before, during and after exercise, be sure to drink plenty of water during bath time!
