Q: What’s the difference between light pink and dark pink Himalayan salts?
A: The main difference is that they contain slightly less of the minerals that give the darker salts their rich dark pink color. I know what you are thinking…. the answer is yes they still contain all the 84 beneficial trace elements and the unique crystal structure that Himalayan salt is famous for. Light pink salts also have a more consistent color and grain, they dissolve faster and leave no mineral particles behind. However dark pink salts offer a wider variety of grain sizes and are generally considered more visually appealing.
Other than that it is simply a matter of personal preference.
