Our standard shipping cost is $10.95 per 20-25 pounds of product (within 50 US states). Our online shopping cart will automatically calculate the weight of your package based on the items you have selected.

We pride ourselves on offering some of the lowest shipping rates in the U.S. for bath salts. However, if you feel you have found a lower rate with any other company, please also take into consideration the full cost of the order (product cost plus shipping cost). Delivery Times
Small/Medium size orders placed before 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time or Noon Pacific Standard Time are generally processed and shipped the same day (larger orders will ship within 24hrs). We only ship during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM PST, excluding holidays). If we encounter any problems processing or shipping your order you will be contacted immediately. If you need a rush status placing on your order, please call us ASAP and we will work with you to ensure we satisfy your needs.
Including a possible 24 hour processing time, most orders will arrive at your doorstep within 5-6 business days from order placement. See below for general delivery times:
From California to western states (west of Texas) - 2 to 3 days
From California to middle states (Texas to Indiana) - 3 to 4 days
From California to eastern states (east of Indiana) - 4 to 5 days

Shipping Carriers Used
We offer some of the lowest ship rates in the U.S.A for bath salts. To do this we use UPS, USPS, and our preferred trucking company for pallets and containers. This also allows us to ship to P.O. Boxes. The carrier used will be based on weight of order, shipping cost and your distance from California. If you would like to request a specific carrier please call 510-477-9600 to make special arrangements and obtain extra details.
International Orders
International orders are currently not accepted over the web. However, international orders are accepted over the phone by calling 1-800-480-4540. The following rules apply to most small/standard sized international orders:
1) We will ship via US mail in flat rate boxes (with a maximum product weight per box of 19lbs, or less depending on the product(s) ordered and the limit to what can actually fit in the box). The price of the product will be adjusted based on actual weight shipped if necessary.
2) The shipping cost for each box shipping to Canada will be a flat rate of $30. For all other international countries, the cost for each box will be a flat rate of $40.
3) For international orders shipped via US Mail, once the shipment leaves our facility, we do not guarantee/insure delivery due to the unknown quality of overseas postal services and a very difficult loss recovery system with US postal service for overseas shipments. However, we do have a very good success rate shipping overseas with the US post.
4) San Francisco Salt Company is not responsible for any taxes/tariffs/custom charges or any other unforeseen fees that that may be due in your country.

Shipment Tracking
Once your order has been processed in shipping, you will receive a tracking ID with shipping carrier via e-mail. Using this tracking ID, your order can be tracked at the following website, depending on shipment method:

Incorrect Address, Non Deliverable & Refused Shipments
Orders that have been returned to us will be handled in a timely manner by our customer service department. If we have made an error, we will re-send the shipment to the correct address at no cost to you. We are notified at the end of each month of any address corrections UPS had to make while delivering a shipment. If the customer has made the address error, the customer will need to pay the cost of reshipping at a rate of $11.00 per box. If the customer has refused the shipment because they changed their mind on the order, the order will be treated as a return.
